The Sydney Kink Festival returns this June Long Weekend for a spectacular three-day takeover, transforming the city into a playground for the bold, the curious, and the dedicated. This year’s curated journey begins on Friday, June 5th, at the Empire Hotel in Annandale with EAT ME, a decadent social munch designed to break the ice and build community connections. From there, the energy shifts to the sensual and high-shine world of THRESHOLD at Our Secret Spot, where the late-night hours are dedicated to curated play and the celebration of fetish expression in an immersive, latex-heavy environment.
Saturday transitions from the darkness of the club to the community heart of the Rex Centre in Darlinghurst. Throughout the day, the Markets offer a vibrant bazaar of gear and apparel crafted by the community, for the community, providing the perfect opportunity to support local makers and upgrade your kit. Simultaneously, our Workshops offer opportunities to share skills and master new disciplines. Whether you are browsing the stalls or diving into a half-day or full-day educational program, the Rex Centre serves as a sanctuary for craftsmanship and curiosity.
As Saturday night descends, the festival moves to the multi-level grit of the Burdekin Hotel for S1NFÜL. This flagship event combines high-octane dance floors with dedicated play spaces, inviting you to dance, play, and connect across several floors of electronic beats and neon-lit subversion. It is a night designed for total immersion, where you can shed your civilian skin and celebrate the diversity of the scene alongside the creative minds behind Reunion and Threshold.
The weekend reaches its peak on Sunday, June 7th, with our grand finale: PER.VERSION at the Burdekin. This closing night blends the sophisticated artistry of cabaret and burlesque with a side of sharp-witted kink trivia hosted by Miss Emm. It is the perfect opportunity to reflect on a weekend of exploration over expertly crafted cocktails, ensuring the Sydney Kink Festival concludes with the high-style spectacle and community spirit that defines the June Long Weekend.
